Benicassim Festival

Benicassim has something to offer across the whole musical spectrum, as indie and rock bands rub shoulders with DJs and more experimental music projects.
Established in 1994 and now in its 16th year, the International Benicassim Festival, FIB Heineken, near Valencia, Spain is back for 2010 from Thursday 15th until Sunday 18th July. With camping thrown in with the ticket price, all night music over 4 days, and sited just walking distance from the beach and a huge water park.
There are no acts confirmed yet for 2010.
As well as this diverse array of musical performers, the festival has an extensive bill of non-musical entertainment, including dance, art, theatre, fashion, silent disco and short films.
There's the usual markets, bars, and food outlets. Several other celebrations of the arts take place within the Benicassim festival, including a short film festival, a fashion weekend, art exhibition, and a festival of dance and choreography, with educational arts courses on top of all this provided by local university, Universidad Jaume I.
