Unless you’re a masochist and don't mind inflammation of your bits, the first word of advice is this: don't delay and sign up with a doctor sharpish, especially if you’re new in town.
Get to your campus Health Centre. Drop by, see what's required to register and then DO IT. Check out what kind of services they offer, when the hours of operation are, what to do during the holidays or an emergency and how to make an appointment.
Also, don’t forget to check in with the centre each season to ensure that you’re still on their books. Some college health centres only take students one term at a time.
It may also be wise to register with a doctor off campus.
