1. The halls of residence are all nearly brand new and the
corridors are wide enough to not only have partys in, but also to
play football/tennis/cricket in
2.The fairly new union is wickid with fridays making
snakebite/diesel a
whole 99 pence (not that they incourage binge drinking!)
3.There are some of the most awsome clubs on the seafront... Time
and Envey being the Monday night place to be... unless your gay
when its off to Marthers for the Pink 130...
4. Portsmouth itself has several shopping centres which you can
spend your student loan at... And idf they are not big enought
Southamptons huge shopping centre is 25 mins away
5. There is a beach... it maybe pebbles but at least you don't get
sand in your toes!
6. The uni has not only one but two weeks to let us students settle
in yes i am refering to Freshers Fortnight...
7. There are loads of clubs and societys to join i.e. The Pub crawl
society and there were rumors of a bouncy castle society.... who
knows?
8. The university of Porsmouth offers like hundreds of courses
which you can kind of change to suit you
9. The uni campus is central to the citys centre so it makes it
easy to pop into a pub for a bevvy before your next lecture or go
buy that new pair of shoes with your loan which is just sitting in
your bank waiting for a good bashing.
10. All the students, tutors and people in Pompey are really nice
and helpful and the city has a multicultural vibe which can be seen
though the take-out places from the good old kebab, traditional
chippy or the
Greek/Italian/Chinese/Indian/mexican tavens dotted around.
