Studying in Italy

Hi All

Well as you all know I'm actually stidying in Milan, Italy. I chose to study outside the U.K to get a different experience and to compliment my resume for my career.

I searched for ages trying to find the right Institution and there were quite a few to choose from. Most were really pricey and some just looked a little simple. After my friends warned me that I should choose a college that was Internationally accredited it kinda narrowed my search down to just a few. Then I met someone online who spoke of Style Design College in Milan. The college is really exclusive and doesnt seem to advertise much but from my research I gathered that they were really well known in the industry. I contacted them and were surprised at how friendly and helpful they were.

I am so happy at SDC and share an apartment with other students. I have made so many friends from around the world and the best has been the program which has taught me so much. I almost feel like I could go into the industry now and earn a living but I am waiting to complete my studies here especially as they include an internship and I'm really excited to get some experience working for someone.

I've also had a chane to travel all over Italy as some of our assignments are set in places like Florence, Rome and Venice. The Professor accompanies us and takes us to palaces and museums and we learn so much.

Well, the reason for my blog post is to just encourage other students to consider studying abroad. Always make sure the institution is Internationally accredited as you want your qualification to stand for something when you come back to the U.K.

I can certainly recommend Style Design College but there are many other institutions to choose from.

I am having the time of my life and starting to get a little worries that I may never want to leave!
