UK Student Travel Advice | Budgeting Tips for traveling

Traveling for students like us is a perfect idea to enjoy, relax and explore. But of course since we are students and we spent more on our education. The main issue we should never consider is the cost we are able to spend in traveling.

Remember that how much you bring depends on how you would like to live. If you are planning to travel for a year, £3,500 to£5,000 is a reasonable estimate of how much you’ll need. Of course this amount is going to change depending on how you like lentils and how willing you are to sleep in grotty hotels. This article provides UK student Travel advice that you might want to consider.

What are the expenses included in your budget?

Everyday expenses

Know how much you will spend per-day. Make some research about the cost of food, transport, accommodation, night life, souvenirs and “must-have” items to come up with the approximate amount. Check the rate of exchange and compare it with the daily rate in the newspaper, as rates do changes and often.

Never forget to add 10% on your approximated amount. This should be cover all but the most costly emergencies, which should be covered by your insurance.
